We are located near UNCC in the “University City” area, on Rocky River Rd. between N. Tryon St. and Old Concord Rd (and East WT Harris Blvd).

Current Service Project: Holiday Craft Market
12/21 (starts at 9am)
Friends who are crafty are encouraged to donate creations. F/friends are invited to purchase craft items throughout the morning. Proceeds will go toward supporting local food pantries.
Charlotte Friends Meeting raised $1350 for the Crop Walk, donated multiple boxes filled with canned goods to Second Harvest Food Bank, and had 15 participants walk with the community --with our FDS young friends making up about half of our group! Thank you for making a difference!
We will continue to collect nonperishable food. Items donated each week will go to a local food bank or charity serving the hungry.

Ongoing Service Projects:
Donate your used postage stamps (look for the marked bucket in the library). The stamps will be sent to the Quaker Missions Stamp Project. Right Sharing of World Resources will receive proceeds from the sale of these used stamps.

Book Drive for the
Prison Book Collective:
Over the summer, Friends donated and purchased numerous books for the Prison Book Collective in Carrboro.

In May 2025, numerous Friends participated in Quaker Walk to Washington 2025. They walked from Flushing, NY to Washington DC. “From May 4th to 22nd, we trekked 300 miles to deliver our faith’s message to this government: that God-given human rights exist before & beyond US Citizenship.”

Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL) objects to unjust orders on immigration and border policy. “FCNL remains resolute in its conviction to unite communities and legislators to champion fair migration policies.”
